Qualification entry methods

Entry methods control when your agent begins qualification. Enable only the methods that match your caller experience.

Your agent asks permission to begin qualification near the start of the call. If the caller declines, the conversation continues normally.

Use this when most callers should be offered the same structured path.

Qualification starts when the caller directly asks to be qualified or screened.

Use this when qualification is an optional service and callers know to request it.

Qualification starts only when the caller clearly matches a configured topic or phrase group.

Use natural phrases that describe a service or need. Keep unrelated services in separate groups and avoid broad words that appear in normal conversation.

  • Start with one entry method.
  • Use specific topic phrases.
  • Test wording that should match and wording that should not.
  • Keep the greeting separate from topic-based entry unless both are intentional.

For a practical setup, see Route by topic.
